Stay Focused. Stay Safe.

It Only Takes a Second

As Distracted Driving Awareness Month continues, it’s a good time to pause and think about the habits we bring with us behind the wheel. At Flanagan’s Towing, we see the results of distracted driving firsthand. It’s not always high speeds or extreme conditions—often, it’s a quick glance away from the road that leads to a situation requiring recovery. Distractions don’t have to be obvious to be dangerous. A phone notification, adjusting controls, or looking away for just a moment can quickly turn into an accident or breakdown. For those working on or near the roadway—including towing and recovery operators—these moments create real risk.

Do Your Part on the Road

As we move through the final stretch of the month, it’s a reminder to stay focused, stay alert, and keep safety top of mind every time you’re on the road. At Flanagan’s Towing, we’re always ready to respond when something goes wrong—but we’d much rather see drivers stay safe and avoid needing us in the first place. Let’s all do our part this month to stay alert and keep the roads safer for everyone.
